The last few weeks have seen the Coronavirus pandemic generate challenges on a global scale. As brave UK keyworkers & the NHS continue under enormous pressure, it’s been heart-warming to witness the support they have received from the nation’s business community.
Utilising the skills of major UK industrial, technology and engineering businesses, the Ventilator Challenge UK Consortium is committed to an ongoing role of supplying the NHS with much needed ventilators and M-CNC were delighted to be selected as a manufacturer and supplier of components that will be used in these lifesaving ventilators.
72 hour turnaround
Following an intensive period of consulting, estimating and prototyping, we were given the ‘green light’ for full production. Just 72 hours later, new valve bodies and brackets were machined, finished, packaged and being driven (by a member of the M-CNC staff!) to their final destination.
M-CNC Engineering made no secret of the expansion of our Bridgwater site and the significant investment in plant and internal systems. This expansion means we now have the capability and flexibility to be able to respond quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. However, none of these systems and processes would be of any value without the expertise, support and dedication of the entire M-CNC Engineering team, many of whom gave up time with their families over the Easter weekend to ensure the ventilator parts were completed on time.
Open for business
M-CNC Engineering remain open for business. Our team of skilled engineers continue with production and manufacturing on site, while our sales, accounts and finance team work remotely. We would like to thank all our customers for their continued support and patience, as we strive to service orders to the high standards they have come to expect from us. We wish everyone well, as we work together through the challenges ahead.
