- Using CAD/CAM programming at every stage of a component’s design and manufacture. This software is integrated with our CNC machines, which are then able to follow the design to an incredibly high level of accuracy.
- Using CMM measurement as part of our quality control processes. CMMs measure the geometry of parts to an extremely precise degree, checking that our finished parts meet the intent of the original design.
2. Compliance and material traceability
CNC engineering is used to manufacture a variety of complex rail components, such as bogie and suspension components. These complex parts must meet the strict safety standards demanded by the rail industry.
Compliance
M-CNC have attained AS9100 Rev D accreditation with BSI, which also includes ISO 9001. This attests to the resilience and reliability of our Quality Management Systems and processes.
We are also RISQS verified, allowing rail companies to view important information about us, and demonstrating our compliance with rail industry regulations.
Material traceability
We can provide full material traceability on every component we manufacture for our clients. This includes First Article Inspection (FAI) reports.
