M-CNC will be back at the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Show for the second year running.
Following a highly successful exhibit at last year’s show we are delighted to be returning to announce our latest investments into Industry 4.0. We have an ever growing order book following the success of our first phase of growth and interest from our stand in 2017.
Why visit?
The Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show is the UK’s largest regional manufacturing technology, electronics and subcontracting exhibition.
With exhibitors from various sectors within the engineering industries, from metrology, machine tools, tooling, work holding and the engineering media to name just a few, the show attracts a wide range of buyers from the cream of UK manufacturers.
We are keen to meet UK manufacturers to make them aware of our recent investments and how these can benefit them. Our huge commitment to new technology has made us more efficient, productive and responsive to the demands and needs of the supply chain within the engineering market.
New investment into Industry 4.0
Following a trip to EMO in September earlier this year, it became apparent that Industry 4.0 was the way forward if we wanted to increase our productivity and efficiency. We purchased eight new DMG Mori CNC Machine Tools, four mills and four lathes. All multi-axis, some with palletised automation and a robot cell to produce larger volumes unmanned.
The Celos control was a large contributing factor as it has apps that can be linked to our software giving us live status of all projects on the machines, it will even be able to send us a text or an email reporting any issues that may arise.
Another contributing factor was our existing customers demand for M-CNC to produce more of their components due to the quality level of service we provide. We needed to increase not only our capacity, but also our capability, allowing us to produce more complex parts with minimal intervention. One such customer is now keen to place larger orders on us to manufacture engine components for their revolutionary jet powered surf board.
A better stand than ever
If you visited our stand last year, you might be wondering how we can top the Isle of Man TT motorcycle we displayed – well this year we will proudly displaying our customer’s jet powered surfboard!
